Adam Koch
My name is Adam and I am a Master Canine Educator at Professional K9 with a passion for helping both dogs and owners better understand each other. I really focus on teaching clear communication and building reliable behavior that carries into everyday life — not just inside a training session.
My training experience includes basic and advanced obedience, behavioral modification, service and therapy dog development, and odor detection. This diverse background allows me to work with a wide range of dogs, from new puppies and family companions to complex behavioral cases and working/service dog teams.
My role as an AKC Instructor and Evaluator helps owners develop dependable obedience skills, proper public manners, and confident dogs that can function calmly in real-world environments. I believe successful training comes from structure, consistency, and helping owners understand why their dog behaves the way they do.
In addition to training, I am Professional K9’s Retail Sales Director. I have an extensive background in sales and retail which allows me to help clients choose appropriate training equipment, enrichment tools, and everyday care products. Rather than simply recommending products, I ensures each recommendation matches the dog’s temperament, training stage, and the owner’s goals — giving clients practical guidance they can trust.
Clients appreciate that I am approachable and able to explain training concepts in a clear, realistic way they can confidently apply at home. My goal is not just a trained dog, but a lasting relationship built on understanding, trust, and communication.
