I am a Master Canine Educator at Professional K9 with a primary focus on therapy dog development.

My goal in training is to create dogs that are calm and confident.

It’s important to me to understand how a dog thinks, processes stress, and communicates. I don’t just teach commands; I help dogs learn how to make good decisions and remain neutral in busy or unfamiliar situations.

My background includes basic and advanced obedience, behavioral development, therapy and service dog preparation, and police dog work, including odor detection and tracking.

As an AKC Instructor and Evaluator, I work closely with handlers to build consistency and confidence so their dogs can successfully function in public environments such as hospitals, schools, community events, and everyday outings. I am especially passionate about preparing therapy teams for real-life scenarios while maintaining appropriate manners and handler awareness.

I believe successful training is a partnership. I spend time teaching owners how to read their dog and understand how their own actions influence behavior. My goal is not just a trained dog, but a dependable team and a relationship built on trust and communication.
